TYPES OF SPEED CAMERAS

	Gatso This measures your speed and photographs the rear of your vehicle as you enter/exit the painted lines on the road.
	TruVelo Measures your speed and photographs the front of your vehicle along with the driver and number plate using sensors in the road.
	SPECS This system uses digital cameras and measures your average speed between two points and photographs the front of your vehicle together with the driver
	Watchman Measures your speed and photographs the front of the vehicle along with the driver and number plate (has number plate recognition technology). This system is usually accompanied by other warning signs triggered by your speed. NO TYPE APPROVAL AS OF 01-12-04.
	Speedcurb Measures your speed and photographs the rear of your vehicle.
	DS2 Semi-permanent, sensor based system that connects to a camera on a tripod and measures the speed of your vehicle.
	Safety Camera Vans Mobile enforcement vehicles that use laser guns to measure your vehicle speed.
	Mobile Laser Hand-held devices that record your speed in either direction using infra-red and / or camera.
