The Novus Alpha provides up to date information of fixed, average speed, Hotspot areas for mobile and red light cameras and accident blackspots with clear natural voice announcements. The Novus Alpha ultilises a unique vehicle profile mode, allowing drivers to select the category of vehicle they are driving, the Novus Alpha will then advise
the driver of the correct speed limit for their vehicle when in
a camera risk zone.
Novus Alpha operation is supplied with a 24 key IR (Infra-Red) remote control.
The Novus Alpha is pre insalled with the Novus camera database which has all the GPS co-ordinates of the all speed cameras and mobile Camera hazards: Gatso, Truvelo, DS2, SPECS speed cameras, Mobile speed cameras, Red light cameras, Congestion charging zones, Saftey camera zones, Accident black spots. The Novus Alpha even has warnings for Sharp Bends on road and roads with steep inclines. With Novus Alpha IR remote control the user can change individual selections of warning camera types
When the Novus Alpha is in a stop position it displays the time, when in transit the current vehicle GPS speed is shown. The Novus Alpha also provides the following screen information, date, SOS position, maximum speed, time, elapsed time and distance travelled for each trip travelled.
