Not any more! The new Cheetah Vizalert is the world's first visor display system for motorcycle helmets that works with both radar detectors AND laser defence systems. Now you can receive discreet visual alerts in your helmet for all types of mobile speed traps and fixed GATSO cameras.

The Vizalert helmet receiver is available with various levels of radar detection and laser defence packages so you can choose the right kind of system you need for the type of mobile speed traps that are used in your area. The Vizalert uses different colours for each radar band or laser signal and the flash rate will increase as you get closer to the signal source. This helps you to interpret and use the information from your radar detector or laser system.

In full face or flip face helmets, the LED display is easily mounted between cheek pads and the helmet skin to provide discreet alerts in your peripheral vision. A boom support arm is available as an optional extra for using the helmet receiver on open face / cruiser style helmets.

Alert type and signal strength

Vizalert is the only visor alert system which identifies both the radar band and signal strength to help you correctly interpret and use the information. Different colours represent different radar bands or laser signals, while the flash rate increases the closer you are to the signal source.

Concealed & discreet

The weatherproof detector heads can easily be concealed under your fairing. Once fitted, there is nothing noticeable to attract the attention of passers-by or opportunistic thieves.

No difficult hardwiring

All Vizalert packages come supplied with our unique "engine running" sensor. Just connect it directly to the battery terminals and it will only turn your detector heads and laser system on when your engine is running. This means you can avoid any difficult hardwiring and anybody can do a DIY install in minutes, rather than hours. If you can wire a plug, you can fit this!
